Song of Pumpkin Brown
Song of Pumpkin Brown

When Pumpkin Brown loses his preacher father and their rural South Carolina home, he is sent to the Jenkins Orphanage. There the shy, lonely boy is introduced to the jazz trumpet as a means of dealing with his grief, a form of expression that will set him on a course of life-long creativity through music.
