Any location in South Carolina is within an hour and some change of a commercial airport.  We can offer your production one of five primary airports located in Columbia, Charleston, Florence, Greenville-Spartanburg and Myrtle Beach. In addition to the commercial options, there are nearly 70 general aviation and public use airports also available for private air service.

Click on any of the links below to discover the many ways to get here by air:

Charleston International Airport offers direct flights to NY. It primarily serves passengers whose travel originates or terminates in the three county Charleston metropolitan area (Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties).  This region boasts numerous films, such as Lifetime's "Army Wives," "Dear John," "The Notebook," "Radio," "The Patriot," and many others.

Columbia Metropolitan Airport
offers flights from American Eagle, Continental Delta, US Airways, and United.  Diverse films such as "Death Sentence," "Nailed," "Chattahoochee," and "Staying Together" found a home in our capitol city.

Florence Regional Airport serves the City of Florence, and the counties of Florence, Dillon, and Marion - the heart of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Come experience why the filmmakers of "The Strangers" and "Shag" chose to shoot in Florence.

Myrtle Beach International Airport is served by Delta, Continental, Hooters Air, Northwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and US Airways offering daily, non-stop flights to over 20 destinations.  Films like "Shag," "Chasers," "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," and "Swimming" have found this beach resort town to be a great filming destination.

Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport is the center for air travel in the Coastal Empire of Georgia and South Carolina's Low Country, which includes the picturesque town of Beaufort, home of "The Big Chill, "The Prince of Tides," "GI Jane," "Forrest Gump," and many others.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is located just 20 minutes north of Rock Hill, SC and within a few hours’ drive of most South Carolina locations, this airport offers four non-stop flights a day to Los Angeles.  Films like "The Patriot," "Gospel Hill," "Asylum," "Walker Payne," "Taking Chances," and "The Rage: Carrie II" all based in Rock Hill, and benefited from the numerous amenities offered in this region.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in central Georgia has many connecting flights to the entire state, and is only a few hours drive to the SC border.
